Seedlings of Native Grapefruit, Grapefruit or Batabi lemon is a type of lemon-like sour-sweet fruit. Its English name is Pomelo (pummelo or pommelo) and its scientific name is Citrus maxima (Citrus maxima) or Citrus grandis (Citrus grandis). In different languages, it is known as pomelo, jabong, shaddock, etc. The outer side of the unripe fruit is green and turns light green or yellow when ripe. Its inner pods are white or pink in color. Its shell is quite thick and inside the shell is soft like foam. It is the largest of the citrus fruits.
