 It is commonly used in the process of dyeing textile fibers, wherein striation is formed on the coloring fibers with dyestuffs. These are available in powder form, which are further useful to prevent the alternating cross bands of light & dark color. Thus, these are very popular resisting agents, which are used for dyeing and printing.
