Company Overview

Gazi Wires Ltd. is the country's only large super enamel copper manufacturing state-owned industrial enterprise under the control of Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) under the Ministry of Industries. The institute was established in 1965 AD under private ownership, with technical support from the world famous “Furukawa Electric Company” Japan. Independence North was nationalized by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in 1972 as PO-27 and merged with Bangladesh Engineering and Shipbuilding Corporation.
