Shyamoli Paribahan is a traditional name in the road transport world of Bangladesh. When Bangladesh was emerging as a country after independence, Ramesh Chandra Ghosh engaged himself in passenger transport services and started Shyamoli Paribahan from his district town Pabna in 1973, now standing on the threshold of its golden jubilee after 49 years. Starting with 1 bus, now Shyamli has one of the largest bus fleets in the country with around 500 AC/Non-AC luxury chair coach buses. As the first private company in Bangladesh, Shyamoli Paribahan first provided international services by launching the Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka international bus service in 1999. With its skilled workforce of 6000 people, it is playing a unique role in passenger service at home and abroad with reputation.
